I guess I'll give an update too!

Right now I'm taking Archy 210, Astro 103 and French 201. I love French, I think that Archy has too much HW :( but I really am interested in the topic, and Astronomy is interesting, obviously. I'm loving living in Bellingham, its great to be free and independent. Plus Bellingham just rocks. The people around me are great, I love the people on my floor, ...and all the other floors in my stack. The roomy and I are getting along very well. Even better- Laura lives here too, so I can stop by her classes, go to the library with her, hang out with her, etc. Which is nice.

I also like having Lindsay under 30 seconds away. I wish Rachael were closer. :(

As you guys know, I like to drink from time to time. That is going well, only woken up a couple times with regrets. ;P But don't worry, I'm only writing about this to say that I've stopped missing classes due to bad reasons, and that I haven't gotten too sick, in trouble, etc.

So I guess thats my update! I don't know who even checks this any more. (Whoever does should post saying "Hi" at least, so I know who) But whoever is out there- can't wait to see you at Thanksgiving!

Hey I *think* that I'm going to start writing more often. So you guys should read this and comment. Just thought I'd say that.

Ok, so first off, I love the room. We get a balcony that we're going to put chairs out on, with a little table, plants, lights, decorations, etc. Its really nice. The room is medium sized for fairhaven. We lofted the beds, so we'll be able to put a futon under. We have a fridge, microwave and TV. Everyone who hasn't seen it should come up here, its beautiful. The roommate is nice, I think we'll get along well.

I decided last night to keep an online journal, cause as of, at least right now, it seems there are so many things going on that I want to record! Its hard to remember what happened yesterday though, but I'll try.

Oh yea, Lindsay moved in yesterday morning, so I was able to see her sisters, and I guess her too. Her room is nice, its reallly close, which is really convenient. We got the lofting materials for our beds, and made them how they are. We dont get the futon til Saturday. My roomate and I did errands including shopping, buying books, etc. Not quite sure, don't totally remember. Then I ended the day watching The Office at Lindsays, I never knew how much I love that show.

Today I slept in, like, SLEPT IN. I went to Lunch with my roomate because we couldn't go to breakfast, too late. Oh, yesterday I helped Laura move in in the afternoon, that was the stuff that filled most my time. And we had a stack meeting. Anyway, TODAY I did errands with the roommate, we bought a couple more books (I have all mine now!), we went to the club fair and we went to Fred Meyer with Linds and Lucia. We were able to buy some cool stuff for our room, including lights, outdoor lights, a rug and other stuff. We also decided we're going to make magnets instead of buy them, for our fridge.

Well I think thats all, I'm gonna get ready for bed. I watched more of the office this night and now all I want to do is read in bed. My roomate is watching a movie with her boyfriend, which I told her is fine. It won't always be fine, but it is now. :) Love y'all.

Just so you guys know, I'm gonna be camping this weekend.

Hey y'all, thought I'd update as well.

Well this weekend was nice and LONG. :D It started with Thursday, renamed Greysday.
Greysday: Group 4 meeting, ridiculously boring. Went to dinner at Annas with the group for pizza, fun. Janet thinks we're cute :D. Then Shelley, Rachelle, Lindsay and I went over to Slaveway, we talked with Andrew for his 30 minute break and bought some items. Then we put said items up in his room. His family didn't seem to mind, they were quite nice about it. Probably didn't realize what we were doing... :D On the way there Lindsay forgot her license so we had to go all the way home and get it! Quite the little journey! It was definately fun though, the only problem with it was that it pushed us VERY close to Grey's Anatomy. We didn't get home until 8:50, which is just as bad as Thanksgiving when Lindsay came over at 8:50 (while my family were all still there and such 0:) )Back to present day, Lindsay spent the night cause we had no school on Friday!!
Friday: We started the morning with Pride and Prejudice, the long version. SUCH a wonderful movie. We interrupted that in order to take doctors rounds, me getting my blood drawn and giving urine for a drug test. Lindsay was very pleased that I dragged her along for those....:D After we got back home we continued with Pride and Prejudice until we went over to Alex's in order to go see Music and Lyrics. It was a cute movie, not the best romantic comedy, but definately worth the money. Hilaroius music videos....And Laura came to town!
Saturday: I had a little get together, with Shelley, Rachael, Rachelle, Andrew, Lindsay, Laura and me. That it? I think that it...Well we played board games and video games and just visited. (BTW, I'm having another one of those, same time, same place, this weekend). Then Rachelle, Lindsay, Shelley and I visited Andrew again. We figured that close together would completely take him by surprise, and he would never expect us to come back so soon. That was fun too! Then, Laura, Rachelle, Lindsay and I went to Amy Yun's bday party for a couple hours. It was fun, but I think we left before the party really got started. We went to Rachelle's for ice cream and hung out for a bit. Then we came home, watched some more PandP. Then Lindsay spent the night, again, cause it was late and we wanted to finish PandP in the morning.
Sunday: Lindsay and I finished PandP in the morning. Then I hung out with Laura and the parents for the day, playing games and visiting. Laura left that evening, then I watched my TV shows!!
Monday: Went to the UW with Shelley in the morning, she already relayed all of that so to see what happened, check out her site. It was lots of fun! Then I did HW and...I don't know, fun stuff? This was until Rachelle came over and we studied for our IB Physics test! A weekly thingy for Andrew, Brittany, Rachelle and I at my house. (Brittany and Andrew didn't make it though).


Sheesh, a lot of summary. Sad thing is I had to ask Laura and Lindsay multiple times what we had to do. I should of asked for a full account of the weekend instead of a, what in the heck did we do Greysday (Sunday)?!!?!?

Job starts on Monday, got an itinerary of activities for the children! I'm so excited!!
Lots of HW! YAY. This weekend...(Sunday)...will be friendly. HW HW HW. Saturday however....having that party....a sleepover one then a day one...:D
Rearranging party (probably just Rachelle, Lindsay and I) where we watch movies, rearrange my room and hang out!

I got a job at College Place Elementary! Its from 3-6pm Mon-Fri, every day there's school. I'm really excited. It'll be fun, it'll give me money, and it'll give me experience!!

I'm going to start a science club, so if anyone has any recommendations as to activities that I can do with 5 through 11 year olds, please tell!! I have to study up so much, I want to AMAZE these kids with my knowledge. :P Or....I want to know enough that I can just tell them the fun stuff and still have enough to say.

So wish me luck! Training is tomorrow, immediately after the Group 4 meeting (which I'm leaving early to get to the training). The job starts on Monday the 26th. Woot Woot!

My mommy's sick. :(. Not like life-sick, just like over 101 degree temperature, major shivering, etc. On another note, we had a pretty cool discussion about mormonisn. I'll share a few points...

Since my last post...(I think, if wrong, sry for overlap)

Tuesday: IOC DONE! I had a pretty relaxing day afterwards, I napped, had Key Club, did HW, that kinda stuff. I went to the store with Anna, then we came home and had some supertime. (I think she didn't leave until like 2 am 0: ) ) (I so had this on thursday, but I was like, super didn't come out on the 16th....)

Wednesday: Senior pictures, the guy liked my smile. :) Haha, he probably says that to everyone but it made me feel speeecial. (He said he remembers Jeff's smile, and that his was the same). After was class, got more interesting since last chapter, but the interesting level has decreased a lot in general, with the whole being done with Seismology and Volcanism, and doing more chemistry and time-based stuff. After, was HW. It was amazing, I worked from 7:30 to 10:00 solid (normally I find break-y things to do) and I finished. I had so much to do, and I FINISHED.

Thursday: I did all my HW at school SO I had no HW. :D Went shopping with Lindsay, watched some TV, including Grey's Anatomy. *grin* The show had sad mixed in :(, but it was still good.

Friday: ...TODAY. Well, I hung out with Anna this afternoon, then I babysat. Pretty straightforward. Oh oh, I'll tell some cute stories of William, because obviously they're infinite. One was after we ate, he was finishing up so I told him to come into the family room when he was done eating (I went in there to prep for our next activity, don't remember what it was). When he came in, he rushed "Amy, I love you" then immediately said "Oops I didn't mean to say that". IT WAS SO CUTE. Hmm, what else? There was the usual, "OH NO, I think my mom might be here!", out of fear that he would have to leave. One time, he made me ask my parents if they were the ones entering the house (with a key, and their voices), just cause he feared that he would have to go home. Oh, and we watched Harry Potter, and he was scared, also cute. Hmm...I'll only do one more...oh, he was very cooperative in general, he had his moments of not so goodness (it was like over 6 hrs he was at my house, its to be expected) but he was amazingly good, willing to play games that to him probably seemed like math and english hw. (Taboo, Rack-o) He even played sequence! (Well it wasn't like he was forced, but he normally wouldn't go for it) Oh and I read one of my murder mystery books to him from one I was younger (I've gotten him really into murder mysteries, since Halloween. I write them, he figures the clues out)

Ok, that rambled on. Well, sry, couldn't help it. 0: ). Sadly Lindsay doesn't have a livejournal, cause she would probably appreciate this most, seeing as she has co-babysat him and all.

I should head to bed, cause I have to get up bright and early tomorrow. :)

This afternoon, Anna and I went shopping. I bought some cool shirts, pants and undies. We ate some lunch soon before we headed home, and it had a major affect on us. We got super tired. SO, when we got home, I suggested that we just nappy nap for like 10 minutes in the car. Nice and innocent, right? No, seeing as we ended up sleeping in Anna's car for an HOUR. It was nice and warm though, with the blanket still in there from our camping trip.

We gotta study for our lab final, which is tonight! Eek! She'll be here any second so we can prep together, then we're gonna go to a study session at 5. Wish us luck!

-Geology class that night, I love geo, and though its always nice to not have to have class on a 'weekend night', it was still geo and great.
-Lost!
Thursday:
-Lindsay, Shelley and I took a whole lot of pictures of Shelley looking perty. It was fun!
-We went to lunch at Taco Time (ps. Shelley, there is a TT closer to my house, where I thought there might be one!) we had a lot of fun, bumping each others heads, peeing our pants and getting weird looks from the workers. :P
-IOC work, which sounds bad, and well, it is, but seeing as the prep was with Shelley/Lindsay, it made it much more enjoyable.
-Grey's Anatomy! Always wonderful.
Friday:
-Bright and early had to get my stuff for CAMPING. Had an AMAZING time with Laura and Anna. It was wonderful. The geology was fun, the camping was excellent, the weather was superb, the company was amazing. *sigh* I could go on and on about this, but I won't, cause I'm a nice person.
Saturday:
-Still camping, obviously. Woke up warm, relaxed, comfortable.
-Got home, took a half hour nap, showered, and out the door because...
-CONCERT! Dixie Chicks (I know some of y'all won't appreciate this, cause you don't like country, but the Dixie Chicks are pretty much amazing. It was wonderful, sadly the people behind us had (looong) sticks up their asses, and were forcing us to sit down, even in some up beat songs. Dont' worry, we gave them evil glares and ignored them most of the time. THe woman in front of us was real nice though, we joined with her.
-Then on the ride home (only 40 minutes, from Tacoma!--pretty amazing traffic in comparison to other concerts) I watched Harry Potter on my laptop.
-Came home, finished Harry Potter. Wait, no I didn't, I watched more, haven't finished it yet, have to do that still.

So Pretty much i had an AMAZING weekend. Now I have to do HW, laundry, IOC prep and more. However TV tonight will save me. Tomororw is my lab final, plus the day before my IOC. Wish me luck!

I'm just taking a little break, I just read 70 pages of Shakespeare in 50 minutes. Its not uber impressive, but I think it deserves a little relaxation. So for those 10 minutes not in the hour I get to do that!

I don't really have anything much to say, I just don't like having old posts up, I get sick of them.

Few new things...
-Talked to Rachel (left her a message) about me working in a kindergarten class at CPE. Further news later. I'm excited!
-My Mom wants me to go to the doctor about 'Bert'(is that his name), but I don't want to because I just went there and I was wrong with what I thought it may be. She agreed not to make me go. *Woohoo*
-I think I might accept the job I was offered for next spring. At first I didn't want to because it wasn't in my interested field, but its money, nice people and a fun job. (With reasonable hours, too)
-I'm trying to decide if I should read Taming of the Shrew beforehand, or keep current. Both have their benefits and downfalls.
-I need to do laundry! I was SO going to do some today!
-I don't particularly like the 'fun' book I'm reading (Sense and Sensibility) and I want to read some other books, which may be more enjoyable. Of course they're geology, physics and neuro-study books...
-Even though I'm going forth with my volunteering in a kindergarten class, I still want to work at a daycare. Maybe over the summer...
-DISNEYLAND is over the summer! Woot!
-I need to do my history HW now, Anna is waiting for me to call her and give the OK to come over and have some supertime.

Well I just watched Grey's Anatomy, which is definately the most awesomely possum show in the world and if I were forced to focus my life around one fake thing, it would totally be that. (Fake means like, TV, movie, books, any other unreal worlds) I don't like the whole commericals thing, got used to not having them, but at the rewatching on Sunday, with Brother Brian (a priest) and Sister Laura (a nun) (--I mean, its Sunday, ain't it! I can be religious!) luckily I can fast forward through them.

Ok I gotta stop writing, cause even me, who loves my writing and is completely obsessed with myself, would be begging me to stop.

An example of a good, studious day....

Last wednesday was a prime example of the kind of student I have become. I've learend that night classes are much more inconvennient then day classes, just because of the procrastination issue. It no longer is: do your HW before bed, it becomes, should I do my HW today or tomorrow? Cause tomorrow I'll have this and today I have this. Yes, I know. Life is difficult. :P

Well, on wednesday I only had a short day, got out at 11 or so. I got a call from the doctor pretty much RIGHT when I got home (no nice break time in there) and was asked to come in immediately. Ugh, I really didn't want it to be that big of a deal. So I was interviewed a few times, and finally asked to come in. My peepee results were negative for sugar (woohoo) but I did notice when he showed me my results, that something else said like...well I forget what it said but it was red and bright and cautious. AND it is totally a symptom of this other thing that I think I may have. But I'm just gonna wait it out, like I said in my previous post.

Well too make a long story short (too late, I know) I also had to get a few other things done. Like get a shot as a part 2 of Hep. for my SA trip. And also get my blood drawn (more then usual! not cool) for thyroid testing. I felt so grown up, going from one office to the other to the other without my daddy, just my doctor card. Yea, I know, I'm amazing. However I normally go to the doctor with Laura anyway... BUT off track again.

After I got home I was tired (this is the kind of thing that I do a mental check of *continuous fatigue*-- another was *OWE HELL* when he pushed my stomach (looking into abdominal issues :)--hypochondriact) well ANYWAY. I napped until like 4 or so, at which time I did my geology reading before class. Then I went to class.

What happens next is the bad part, its where I went shopping after class. Then to dinner at Denny's. Then I watched a movie. And I had a french test, french hw, and a good amount of history hw (about 20 pages of work in all). I did a few pages of history (literally) then slept. So I finished my history hw 4 minutes before french ended.

Yes, so that is an example of bad Amy. However you could also look at it like this: I got all my HW done, I think I got an A on my french test and I have straight A's so far this year. So I pretty much rock. (This is the time for ego boost, I gotta do it regurly, every 108 minutes, or else I'll be sucked into magnetic field of low self esteem. LOL I'm hilarious (yes, its been 108 minutes, I type slow). Sorry, I just kept going with the Lost. Truly sorry)

I should really wait til tomorrow to do this post because I am still waiting for my blood tests for my thyroid stuff, and including this would make this post whole, however too bad, I'm posting now.

Basically, I don't have Diabetes (type 1 obviously). Woohoo! When I was talking to my doctor he said I should just watch my drinking problem, and see what happens. He was like, there could be many other causes for this, like a brain tumor for example. I was like, great, thats what you gotta tell the semi-hypocondriact. :P I don't actually think I'm a hypochondriate, seeing as in my example my judgement on health has been accurate. (Note how I have no idea how to spell hypochondriact, and I change it every time. Even though I could spell check it. I'm just that much of a rebel)

On that note, I'm thinking that there may be something else, I dunno why, just have a feeling. However I don't have a feeling that time is an issue, and so I'm just gonna wait it out, get treated for my thyroid and see if I feel better. If I do there probably isn't something else, if I don't, then my doctor will look into it.

So, I'm pretty sure I can edit this post after I post it, so I may do that when my results are in, just do some editing to hide the fact that I had written it earlier. Yeah, I know, I'm tricky.
